HAPPILY EVER AFTER OR IF ONLY I WERE WEALTHY...

What is Happily Ever After? For some it is unconditional love bestowed by their Soul Mate, for others it is perfect health, still others feel it is unlimited prosperity. Actually it’s a combination of all three.

Unfortunately, one of the fatal enemies of that “Fairy Tale Ending” is something as essential as the air we breathe and food we eat, money. Yes, money! Finances, the handling and distribution of our assets, who should pay and how much, causes more arguments, heartache and break-ups than any other single issue couples face in love relationships.

Many people lose respect for a partner who doesn’t “pull their own weight financially,” doesn’t provide for the family adequately, or has different financial attitudes/behaviors than their partner. Too often individuals enter a relationship that is completely wrong for them because the potential partner has an impressive stock portfolio, hot car or owns a nice house. Money, the promise of, or the lack of, makes “sane” people do “insane” things.

Financial mastery, prosperity and a feeling of abundance are essential to a healthy, long lasting romance. The good news is you don’t have to be the wealthiest person on the planet, or have a CPA in your back pocket to live an abundant life; just follow some tried and true techniques to put you on the road to an extraordinary life.

Are you as abundant as you want to be? Most people would answer with a resounding “No” and jump into a litany of excuses, accounts of missed opportunities, misdealt cards, and other unfortunate situations that have blocked their fortunes.

Why aren’t you as prosperous as you want to be? The answer is as varied as the number of people on Earth, but I have synthesized the reasons into four main categories:

Deserving: Feeling you are not “worthy” of the Fickle Finger of Fate bestowing your heartfelt desire for untold riches; you haven’t worked “long or hard enuf” to build up those cosmic brownie points; or you don’t deserve to be wealthier than your family members or best friend.

Negative Judgments about Wealth and Prosperity: Those “filthy rich;” “the wealthy slum lord who doesn’t care about the ‘little guy’;” and so on.

Fear & Guilt: “If I become rich everyone will want a piece of me;” or “I will no longer be loved or accepted by my friends, family or the world in general.”

Anger: “THEY” took MY piece of the pie and now there is nothing left for me; “I have tried and NOTHING;” “Life just doesn’t support my dreams.”

You get the picture. All right, enough excuses; let’s dive into some solutions. We could bemoan the “reasons” forever, but that won’t get us anywhere, now will it?

First of all, to create prosperity, you have to know what you want before you can create it. I’m talking about knowing specifically what you want. The vague statement that you “want to be rich” just won’t cut it. How much, in what form, created in what length of time, and experienced for how long, are all elements that are essential to stipulate.

Secondly, it is imperative to know WHY you want it. Amassing a pile of little pieces of paper with pictures of dead Presidents on them is not compelling enough for most people to pop thru the glass ceiling into the world of wealth. What will the money DO for you, your family, and your fiends? What will it provide? How will it change your lifestyle? Creating money just for the sake of having money is crazy – the key is to focus on what all that legal tender will create for you.

Thirdly, let go of all that guilt rumbling around inside; you can’t get poor enough to make someone else rich and you are not depriving anyone of his or her abundance by claiming yours. The only way you can positively impact your life and the lives of those around you is to live life as abundantly as possible. It adds to the energy flow and teaches others that it is possible. Give up any feeling that you can’t, don’t deserve, shouldn’t, don’t know how, or what do I do then… You will have all the people, help and support you need to maintain your wealth and you will be prospering them in return. The universe is unlimited. Wealth is unlimited. Abundance is unlimited. Period, end of story. Claim yours now.

Lastly, most people send out contradictorily messages to the universe and wonder why they aren’t getting what they are asking for. For example, let’s say wealth is high on your “Wish List.” You want, wish, envision, ask, plan and NOTHING happens. Why? Because usually within the very wish or request is the opposite or negative feeling about that desire. For example; “I’d really love that gorgeous new Mercedes, but I’m afraid the payments will be too high” or “I’m so ready to be wealthy, because I’m tired of this financial struggle!” Within the request you have included the opposite feeling or request. The universe receives BOTH messages and one actually cancels out the other. You are saying Yes and No, Go and Stop, at the same time. The result? You receive the sum of both messages, which is nothing, or in many cases more of what you don’t want. You will always receive your dominant thought. If you worry about being broke all the time, you will receive more experiences of being broke.

If you want to be wealthy, abundant and prosperous, make sure your dominant thought is about wealth, abundance and prosperity. STOP focusing on what you don’t want! If you think about illness all day long, why are you surprised when you become ill? We create with our thoughts. You manifest out of pure intention. If you are ready for your “Wealth Happily Ever After,” start focusing on your dreams and desires - you will be living them before you know it!
